Employment Week

Our 32-hour, weeklong Employment Training Workshop teaches the skills needed to find and sustain employment: networking, resume writing, how to dress appropriately, time management, conflict resolution, communication skills, strategic thinking, and interview preparation. Every participant is paired with a staff employment counselor for support. The relationship is 50/50: StepUp uses its resources to provide opportunities, while participants execute the skills they have learned, all in the pursuit of gaining employment.
