Bashirah first entered StepUp’s doors in 2014. Though encountering many obstacles, she was perseverant in her efforts to complete the 48-week Life Skills program.
Throughout her journey she has maintained employment as a Personal Care Aide, gained custody of her 11-year-old daughter, and purchased a car through Wheels4Hope. Bashirah is currently in Phase IV of the Life Skills program with 7 weeks remaining before completing this stage of her journey.
